A comprehensive evaluation looks at the whole child. It is a thorough assessment process that is used to gain a better understanding of an individuals strengths, needs, and challenges. A psychoeducational evaluation provides a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your child's cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning. These evaluations can help answer questions as to why your child might be struggling. A comprehensive evaluation is often conducted for children and adolescents when there's a need to assess learning disabilities, ADHD, or other conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder that affect their overall functioning and well-being.
